Partners & Sponsors

Sponsors play a critical role in our ability to achieve our mission. We would not be able to carry out our mission if it were not for the generous support and sponsorship we receive from corporations and foundations, and from individuals.

These videos are designed for families to use at home. The wide range of new feelings and emotions brought on by COVID-19 and stay-at-home orders need to be expressed and shared. This is our way of connecting with you and supporting you during these unprecedented times.

Corporations and Foundations:

Here is a sampling of our sponsors. We are most appreciative of their interest in, and support of, the Foundation’s work.  Children and families across the nation and internationally are benefitting from their generosity.

Colorado:

Kids Alive was founded in 1995 in response to the voiced concerns of participants in a breast cancer support group that there was a lack of organized support for the children of breast cancer patients. The next year Kids Alive expanded to include children whose parents had any cancer diagnosis. It has continued since 1995, meeting and supporting children ages 6-16. The purpose of Kids Alive is to serve children by helping them contend with the trauma of a parent’s diagnosis of cancer by providing a secure and healthy environment in which they are free to express their feelings. The Children’s Treehouse Foundation owes a debt of gratitude to Kids Alive for introducing us to the possibilities for support of children who have a parent with cancer and for inspiring Peter van Dernoot’s first book, Helping your Children Cope with Your Cancer.
